Construction of Belgrave and Birstall Station, Leicester

Construction work in progress at the site of Belgrave and Birstall Station, Leicester, circa 1897. Beyond is a brick arch overbridge, still with the centring in place. Note that for contractor's rails, the tracks in the foreground appear to be relatively well laid and maintained.
